Wyoming Cabin & UTV Rental @ Spear-O-Wigwam

Explore the rugged roads of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains at the legendary Spear-O-Wigwam Guest Ranch. This weekend getaway includes:

  • 2 Nights at Spear-O-Wigwam in the Niner Cabin

  • Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner

  • 2 - Hour Horseback Ride on Saturday morning

  • A Can-Am UTV Rental

Spear-O-Wigwam was built in 1923 and is one of the most remote mountain lodges Wyoming has to offer. Boasting ample opportunities for fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and UTV riding right from you cabin. Spear-O has hosted many iconic characters throughout it’s history, including the legendary Ernest Hemingway, leading to its place in the history books on the National Registry of Historic Places.

This package is designed to fit the needs of 2-4 guests. The Niner cabin has two queen size beds, a couch, one bath, and a kitchenette. Each day, breakfast and dinner are served in the historic main lodge of Spear-O-Wigwam. Lunches are built “to-go” for a day full of epic adventure in the Bighorn Mountains.

Itinerary

Friday - Arrive at the Bomber Mountain Adventures drop-off location at the base of the Bighorn Mountains mid-afternoon. Go over how to use your Can-Am UTV. Spear-O-Wigwam is a 23 mile trail ride on the stunning Red Grade Road. Gain over 4,000ft of elevation as the road winds its way up the Bighorn Mountains. Dinner at 6:30pm at Spear-O-Wigwam.

Saturday - Breakfast starts at 7:30am and runs till 9am. Go on a two-hour horseback ride at 10am then spend a full day exploring the Bighorns with your Can-Am UTV Rental. Dinner at 6:30pm

Sunday - Start your day easy with a relaxing morning on Park Reservoir with a Kayak or Canoe. Return your Can-Am UTV rental to drop off location by 5pm.

Additional Info

  • Fuel is not included in the price. Please ask Spear-O staff about fueling up your UTV Rental if needed. There are not gas stations near Spear-O-Wigwam.

  • Sheridan, Wyoming is the closest airport with daily flights via United Airlines. Bighorn Airways also offers FBO Services if flying commercial does not fit your scheduling needs.

  • Sheridan has a multitude of hotels if arriving Thursday night and leaving Monday morning are the best options for your work schedule.
